The organizing of horse trials at the Florida Horse Park in Ocala for the 2010-2011 season was awarded earlier this year to Equiventures LLC managed by Peter Gray and Jonathan Holling. The first of these events back on November 20th and was a great success with close to one hundred horse and ride combinations competing.The next event is scheduled for Jan 8th 2011 and course builder Jay Hambly assures all competitors each event of the series will have a unique and challenging cross country course.

The Ocala Eventing Series is sponsored by Ocala Horse Properties LLC and the January 8th event will have divisions for Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, Prelim and Intermediate. You can see the USEA ominubus lisitng here. The closing date is December 21st, so you better hurry.

The four event series runs through to April 15th where a CCI* and CCI** event will be held. With the experience of both Peter Gray and Jonathan Holling behind the scenes you can be assured these events will be well run, well officiated and ideal for those wanting to escape the wintry north.
